Lhasa takes measures to manage iodized salt sales

To ensure stable supply of iodized salt, the municipal government of Lhasa has decided several measures to maintain order of the local salt market.

Salt companies are urged to stop retailing business inside the company and to send salt to local supermarkets and shops, ensuring sufficient salt supply.

Officials at all levels are required to remove doubts about the rumor to ordinary citizens, easing their worries over salt shortage.

Departments concerned are required to work closely to supervise salt distribution in supermarkets, shops and appointed salt sales spots, severely punishing potential speculation actions.

Public security department are responsible for disposing of any crime by rumormongers and panic-mongers in accordance with the law
