Training for aid-Tibet cadres held in Lhasa

On July 3, the two-day training session for the 6th group of aid-Tibet cadres from Zhejiang and Liaoning Provinces was held in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR). Officials of Nagqu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and 106 cadres attended the training.

Palbar Tashi, chairman of Nagqu Prefecture briefed the cadres on five key points including a  general account of Nagqu, current and future development in Nagqu, key projects, its political situation and mission in combating Tibetan separatism, and especially the significance of the Fifth Forum of the Central Government on Work in TAR.

"Aid-Tibet cadres have played an important role in promoting leap-forward development and social security in TAR, which is the common goal of different ethnic groups ” said Palbar Tashi. He stressed his hopes that cadres from Zhejiang and Liaoning should take the responsibilities in aiding TAR, endure all kinds of hardships and keep up with the spirit and good practices of the previous cadres in order to make more contributions to the current and future development of Nagqu Prefecture.
