To ensure food safety in the upcoming National Day holidays, the Health Bureau of Rinbung County, Shigatse Prefecture has recently organized an inspection campaign in the area.
The inspection team consisted of professionals from Rinbung Administration of Industry and Commerce, Rinbung Public Security Bureau, and Rinbung Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau as well as Rinbung Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The team examined meat, vegetables, fruits, wine and other foods sold in food processing workshops, supermarkets, vegetable markets, wholesale stores, etc.
In the inspection, the team confiscated altogether 10 kinds of unsafe food, such as bad meat, expired food, and unbranded and dateless products by nameless factories.
