Four beautiful brides get married with their grooms in Lhasa on the construction site of the Qinghai-Tibet interconnection project, one of the key projects of China's West Development Strategy during the National Day Holiday on Oct. 6, 2011

It is becoming increasingly popular for the Chinese to hold wedding ceremony on the annual National Day on October 1. Even for those who are departed from their beloved brides but are ready for marriage, group weddings are arranged to keep up with this trend.

On Oct. 6, 2011, four brides and grooms are holding their wedding ceremony on the construction site of the ±400kV Lhasa converter station, one of the control projects of the Qinghai-Tibet interconnection project in Lhasa.
