Tibetan performances during 9th National Ethnic Games

A Tibetan is giving archery performance during the 9th National Ethnic Games on September 12, 2011. [Photo/Chinatibetnews.com]

A series of characteristic Tibetan performances were given to audiences during the 9th National Ethnic Games held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on September 12, 2011.

The Ethnic Games present national reunion and provide a platform for communication and competition between various ethnic groups. The games started on Sept 10 with a biggest participation of over 6,700 athletes from 34 delegations in various provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions of China.
