Moon in Lhasa on Mid-Autumn Day

This group of pictures were taken by Li Qian on the Mid-Autumn Day. Li is an amateur photographer, and he said the air in Tibet is cleaner, and this is the nearest place to the sky, thus the moon is much more beautiful.

Li Qian, with a pseudonym ''an old Tibetan photographer", has worked in Tibet for nearly 35 years. He started to learn photography in 2004, and his pictures mainly focus on the local customs of Tibet. "For my whole life I work in Tibet, thus I have a strong will to record everything here using the camera. When retired one day, I can take out all of these pictures and recollect my best memories," said Li.
