Police fire department of Lhasa organized the fire department to make an across the board investigation on the municipal fire hydrants and water source of roads.

According to a worker from detachment of Fire Department of Lhasa, currently, fire risks hidden in some blind spots and area are increasing. Furthermore, there is a still a gap between the fire controlling infrastructure and national standard. Therefore, an intensive investigation was conducted to consolidate the rescue work of extinguishing fire.

Staff from detachment of Fire Department will repair rusty and damaged fire hydrants, and clean up surrounding sundries. Meanwhile, all the fire hydrants will be numbered on request, related information and data on surrounding areas will also be put into E-map, so that hoseman can have a thoroughly grasp of dynamic change of fire hydrants.
