Lhasa Railway Station started ticket booking 11 days ahead of departure on June 8.

At present, softseat tickets from Lhasa, capital of Tibet to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are in high demand. A worker from Lhasa Railway Station suggested tourists to these cities book tickets 10 days in advance and those to Chengdu buy hard seat tickets 3 or 4 days ahead of departure.

Tourists are required to change their tickets before departure when needed.

Reservation now is available at the station from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
