The Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company started Wednesday carry out a new train schedule with part train being largely adjusted.
Started from Nov. 11, arrival time for train K916 leaving Xining (Qinghai Province) for Yinchuan (Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) was cut by 8 minutes, from previous 8:42 to 7:44, and duration of return train was shrunk by 23 minutes, from previous 11:05 to 10:42, according to staff of Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company.
Train K9801/K917 will leave Xining at 14:55 and arrived in Lhasa at 15:05 with the total travelling time reduced by 66 minutes, while the return train of K9802/K918 is cut down by 34 minutes to depart at 8:00 and reach Xining at 7:40.
Shuttle trains between Chengdu and Xining will no longer stop to pick up or unload passengers at Yang Ping Guan Station while a new station is added in Kunshan for trains running between Shanghai and Xining.
There has slight modifications for other trains.
The Department of Railway reminds passengers of paying attention to new schedule so as not to miss their trains.
