Construction for 2nd line of Tibetan railway quickens up

The second line for Xining-Golmud Section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is under busy construction and is expected to run through (except the Guanjiao Tunnel) within 2009.

With a total length of 290 kilometers, this line is invested by over 10 million yuan and is planned to completely finish in 2012 for a total work term of 60 months.
