Tibet quickens rural transport infrastructure


A bus runs on a rural highway in southeastern Tibet's Shannan Prefecture, July 20, 2009. By the end of 2008, Tibet had a total highway mileage of 51,314 km, with roads accessible to 95 percent of townships and with 61 percent of counties linked by asphalt roads, photo from Xinhua.
