Gratitude-themed Speech Contest held in Yushu

A candidate is giving an excellent speech at the speech contest

A candidate is giving an excellent speech at the speech contest on Oct. 6, 2010.

The "You Contribute To The bright Tomorrow--I'm Moved By You" Speech Contest was held by northwest China's Qinghai Yushu Association of Science and Technology on the afternoon of Oct. 6, 2010.

Altogether 14 candidates from 5 schools took part in the speech contest, giving speeches on the moving stories occurring during the quake relief in Yushu.

With grateful hearts, the candidates told the true stories that people of all ethnic groups united together in quake relief in times of natural disaster. The touching scenes were recalled in the mind of the audience again, and even moved them to tears.

Tsering Dorje from Yushu No. 3 Six-Grade Primary School won first peize; Damqu Nyima from Yushu No. 3 Six-Grade Primary School and Yom Tsang from  Gyegu Township Central Lodging School won second prizes; Medok Lhamze from Yushu Red Flag Primary School, Yangtsok from Gyegu Township Central Lodging School, Lhamo Chutsang from Yushu No. 3 Six-Grade Primary School won third prizes.

After the contest, officials concerned presented awards to winners and five excellent supervisors.
