With infrastructure consistently being improved, the local tourist market in Xigaze Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region has been vigorously promoted and maintained a robust growth .
In the first half of 2010, Xigaze was reported to receive 410,000 tourists, up 26% compared to the figure in 2009, with the tourist revenue hitting up to 300 million yuan, 101% higher compared with the same period last year.
