The project to build the greenbelt along the Lhalu Wetland of Lhasa is about to be finished this April.
Started in 2009, the greenbelt project along the Lhalu Wetland costs more than 11.9 million yuan. Among the total, 3.2 million yuan was pumped into building greenbelt.
Planting greenbelt can only be carried out in mid and late April due to the weather and temperature in highland.
"In the past, we observe the beautiful scenery in the Lhalu Wetland through the fence, but now we can have a closer eye on it," said a citizen in Lhasa.
