Under the harsh climate featuring alpine cold, oxygen deficit and frequent blizzards, Tseten Norbu helped his teammates conquer altitude sickness.
Having arrived at Dome-A on Jan. 6, 2009, Tseten Norbu and other 20 team members began to build a scientific research station. During the process, Tseten helped his teammates get rid of diseases, took part in logistics services and conducted studies on polar medicine.
On Jan. 27, the team finished the construction of Kunlun Station, China's third Antarctic Scientific Expedition Station. Members of the team started for home on Feb. 2, and arrived at Shanghai on April 10.
