Tibetan pupils are excited at the success of Tibetan antelope as one of five doll mascots of 2008 Beijing Olympics. Yeshe Chosgron from Class 1, Grade 2 says:" Yingying's pose is suitable for representing the fast, agile and swift characteristics of Tibetan antelope. The head ornament reflects a track and field player. Representing the yellow ring of five-ring of Olympics, Yingying is a display for Green Olympics."
November 13, a teacher of Changzhou Tibet Middle School says:" During this May Day, we organized the students to take part in the publicizing of supporting Tibetan antelope as mascot of Beijing Olympics by logging in the feature for voting on China Tibet Information Center. We hope that after Tibetan antelope was selected as one of five mascots of Beijing Olympics, more and more people will pay attention to the protection of this rare animal.
