A Tibetan Love Song staged

Chinese romantic film A Tibetan Love Song is now on Chinese cinemas. Set in the 50s', the liberation army was sent to Tibet to help build railroads. Army engineer, Li Sujie saved a local Tibetan slave girl and set her free. Like an old fashion story, the two young people felt in love. But a natural disaster separated them again. For 60 years, the lovers waited for each other, until they met again.

Su Youpeng plays the young engineer, Li Sujie. He says shooting a movie in Tibet was physically difficult, but he felt very lucky.

"I caught a cold in the plateau, and it was hard to get well. What's worse is that we always encountered sand storms, and it was terrible for my cold. I have listened to the Tibetan Love Song ever since I was very little. But I've never thought that I would be riding horses in Tibet one day, and personally, I think I'm a good rider. " Su said.
