Qi Zhala re-elected as chairman of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region
Qi Zhala (Che Dhalha) was re-elected as chairman of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at the first session of the 11th People's Congress of Tibet Autonomous Region on Jan. 30.
 
Qi Zhala, an ethnic Tibetan, was born in 1958 in Shangri-la, southwest China's Yunnan Province.
 
He was elected as chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region in January 2017.
