Recently, after selection and confirmation of the National Bureau of Tourism and China Central Television, both Lhasa and Nyingchi in southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region were chosen to be among cities competing for the title of “Charismatic Chinese City.”
As two of the 32 cities firstly chosen to compete for Charismatic Chinese City among over 300 provincial cities in China, Lhasa and Nyingchi come out ahead by virtue of their unique allure.
Next, they will go through several competitions before the 2017 audience favorite charismatic tourism cities” are voted by a on-site delegation, audience and internet users.
Previously, host of the Charismatic Chinese City awards held its drawing process for rival cities. Nyingchi and Tonghua City of Jilin province will compete against each other in the preliminary competition, and Lhasa’s c rival will be revealed in the next round of drawings.
The Charismatic Chinese City awards will have 26 episodes, airing at 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm on China Central Television Finance Channel every Friday starting on June 16th.
