Morning in the Jakhyung Monastery

A cluster of photos captured the morning tranquility of a time-honored monastery of the Gelug Sect, the Dalai Lama's sect  of Tibetan Buddhism.

Located in SW. China's Qinghai Province and with a history of over 700 years, Jakhyung Monastery seats itself on the north bank of the Yellow River, and secluded itself in the remote mountains of Chafu Township, Hualong County, Haidong Prefecture, Qinghai Province.
