Tibet first synchronously publishes reportage in bilingual versions

Tibetan and Mandarin versions of "Dream catcher in Tibet", a recent reportage by Tibetan native writer were synchronously published in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet.

The new publication presents readers a full picture of the legendary Tibetan artist Tubdain.

In the reportage, the author Phumtsog Tsering shows us a comprehensive life story of Tubdain, guidance counselor for Chinese Ballad Singers Association and honorary president with Tibetan Ballad Singers Association.

The book introduces that Master Tubdain began to play roles in the Tibetan opera troupe at the Gundeling Monastery in Lhasa early at 12, and was the first one bringing the Tibetan epic "Gesar" onto the stage.

With far-sighted vision into Tibetan arts, Tubdain has dedicated his efforts to moving the native art form towards inland regions of China and even overseas countries such as the US and Canada, making made outstanding contribution to the dissemination of Tibetan art,

"The book records Tudain's pioneer spirit during his lifelong pursuit of arts while from another perspective, it is also a diary of a dreamseeker. The reportage shows not only an artist's life stories but also part of the irreproducible history as well as the respectable mettle everlastingly preserved for arts," said renowned Chinese crosstalk artist Jiang Kun.
