Tibet's Pumaqangtang township is holding a three-month technique training class on ethnic handicrafts for local herders to increase their employment opportunities.
Dubbed as the township with the highest altitude in China, Pumaqangtang township is located in the Nakartse County, Lhoka Prefecture of Tibet. In recent years, the local government has strived hard to improve the living standard of its local herders by various ways.
The training on ethnic handicrafts is a good way to increase the herders' employment opportunities and their income. As known, more than 30 herders have received the training this time.
