"Little paradise" abundant with rain

Tahuang

Tahuang (Latin name: Rheum nobile Hook. f. et Thoms), a kind of Tibetan medicine, grows in the high mountain on July 6. [Photo/Xinhua]

Different from most areas of Tibet with dry weather, Yumai Township in the Lhoka Prefecture at the south foot of Himalayas Mountains are abundant with rain so grass and forest here grow well.

Dubbed as "little paradise", Yumai at an altitude of 3,500 meters is a township with the smallest population in China.
