The first snow of 2011 fell on Beijing, the latest snowfall in Beijing's winter for 60 years. The ancient city turned white with the late snowflakes, China Tibet Online reported.
In Yonghegong Lamasery, an imperial Tibetan Buddhism monastery in Qing Dynasty, the China Red was integrated into the white snow. Light incense was smelled in the air.
Compared with the big waves of people in the Lunar New Year's Day, the Lamasery sees fewer pilgrims and visitors today. It looks extraordinarily serene in the snow.
