A song and dance performance entitled "Charm of Tibet" has highlighted Cultural Week in Spain. Artists from China brought an authentic Tibetan flavor to Spanish audiences on Monday night in Madrid.

Potala Palace, the landmark of Tibetan culture was set up as the background for the performance. Artists from the Song and Dance Troupe of the Tibetan Autonomous Region staged their latest production, carrying an ambition to present the rich and diverse tradition of Tibetan performing arts.

They are showcasing the unique costumes worn in local festivals, delivering passion through ethnic dance, and interpreting the legend of King Gesar through the tender melody of the six-stringed zither.

The performance was treated to a full house of audience members and has touched some of them to visit the mysterious plateau land.
