Lhasa offers free health checkup for 60,000 rural people

As of the end of October, a total of 63,841 farmers and herdsmen in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) have received free health checkup.

Lhasa has earmarked altogether 7.6609 million yuan to offer free physical checkup for rural people above 45 years old, spending 120 yuan for each.

Moreover, Lhasa also invested another 227,000 yuan in establishing health checkup archives for farmers and herdsmen.
