During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, altogether 288,800 herdsmen in 53,373 households have benefited from the grassland contract system in Nagqu Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR).
A total amount of 364 million mu of grassland has been contracted to local herdsmen for operation, accounting for 89.3% of the available grassland.
