Grain output hit record high in Lhundrup, Lhasa

According to statistics, the gross grain output in Lhundrup this year reaches a historical high of 124.27 million jin, indicating a consecutive growth in the past three years. 

Farmland for oil production covers 157894.43 mu and total 124.27 million jin with the average per unit yield of 787.03 jin.

Grain output increased by 2.80 million jin and that of rape seeds by 0.2586 million jin, contributing 3.0619 million jin more oil than that of last year.

"I planted barley wheat with a standardized mode of production on 3 mu of farmland last year following the instructions of the county government, by which, I received more than 200 more barley over the previous year. So I expanded the planting area and received more barley," said Losong happily, a farmer from Lhundrup County.
