With a total investment of 442.5 million yuan, the construction project of Tibet Museum of Natural Science kicked off on Oct.8.
The museum is designed to be a large-scale comprehensive museum with multiple functions, including education, scientific research and exchange, collection and production, etc.
It will serve as a scientific educational base and tourist site featuring visitors' participation.
