Press release conference for Lhasa's 2010 Shoton Festival was successfully held at the Tibet Hotel in Beijing on the morning of July 9, 2010. This conference was jointly organized and hosted by the Beijing-based liaison office of Lhasa and the organizing committee for Lhasa's Shoton Festival.

The event was chaired by Tashi Phuntsog, director of the Lhasa's Beijing-Based liaison office, who introduced the organization of the 2010 Shoto Festival and reviewed the preparatory efforts made so far for this world-famous Tibetan festival.

Officials from local authorities and sections concerned as well as the board chairman of the sponsor-Lhasa's Glacier Mineral Water Company attended the conference. Sun Yushan, inspector of Beijing Publicity Department and Zou Weinan, deputy director of Beijing's Bureau of Tourism made speeches respectively on the significance of this Tibetan indigenous event and the marketing and publicity strategies.
