Solar energy widely used in Qinghai Tibetan areas


Pupils play in front of a classroom which uses solar energy for its heating devices in a village in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Huangnan in northwest China's Qinghai Province, Dec. 2, 2009. Solar energy has been widely used among local people in Qinghai. Local government also encouraged the residents to use the environment-friendly energy by providing them with solar cookers and solar panels. (XinhuaZhang Hongxiang)
