Shoton Festival souvenirs available on market

In order to satisfy the demands of local people, the special yak sculpture and limited edition commemorative T-shirts as the 2009 Lhasa Shoton Festival souvenirs are available on the markets from August 18.

Yak sculpture symbolizes the hard-working spirit, vigor and vitality of Tibetans and the T-shirts stand for the commemorative significance of this festival.

The Shoton Festival also known as Sour Milk Drinking or Yogurt Festival will be held on the first day of the seventh month.
