Mountaineering lovers for the 9th Tibet Spring Climbing Convention set out from the training base in Yangbajain for the 5,300-meter-high advanced camp of Mt. Chitzi and they will wait for a fine day to top this mountain with an altitude of 6,206 meters above the sea level.

With 70 mountaineering lovers signing up for the event, the Convention will last till May 5 to climb Mt. Jansung Lhamo and Mt. Chitzi simultaneously.
