The ongoing Galung La Tunnel on the Medog Road has by far been dug more than 500 meters since its construction in November 2008, and is expected to be accomplished in 2 years.
The Galung La Tunnel, the crucial passage to link isolated Medong County of Tibet Autonomous Region with the outside, has a total length of 3.3 kilometers, locating in the 24 kilometers place of the Medog Road.
