The Grand Summons Ceremony in Lhasa, known as Moinlam Quenmo in the Tibetan language, usually takes place from the 8th day to the 15th of the first month of the Tibetan calendar. The annual Buddhist service will be ended on March 11 this year. During the ceremony, Tibetan monasteries debate about the sutra of Tibetan Buddhism and pilgrims pray and give alms, photo from Xinhua.
