Snapshots of markets in welcoming Tibetan New Year

With Tibetan New Year approaching, Lhasanians are busy in purchasing for holidays. Colorful Tibetan costumes are popular among the citizens, photo from Tibetdaily.

Tibetan butter wrapped in the traditional ways is one of the essential supplies on the Tibetan New Year. Many herdsmen from Xigaze and Nagqu areas come to Lhasa to sell their own butter. Dondrup, a herdsman from Gampa township of Xigaze feels excitedly(excited) for his butter on hot sale this year, photo from Tibetdaily.
