Renovation of Potala Palace under well progress

The Potala Palace in Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region, stands against the blue sky, photo from Xinhua on June 13, 2008.

Started from 2002, renovation work on the Potala Palace of Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region, at a cost of 170 million yuan, is under smooth progress and is expected to be completed within 2008.
