Most Tibetan books and records are composed of unbound pages and wrapped with cloth, silk or brocade. Two pieces of scripture binders are used to press them from both sides. And then, the book is tied with a wide stripe. There exist carved and painted scripture binders, usually decorated with images of Buddha and auspicious patterns.
