70 actors from the Tibet Lhaze Farmer Art Troupe will perform on the 2007 CCTV Spring Festival Gala and a sending off ceremony was held before these farmer actors left Lhasa for Beijing on January 29.
Puqung, one of the actors said that he felt excited as this was the first time for him to perform on the Gala and also happy for the Tibetan "Duixie" (a kind of traditional Tibetan dance) to step out of Tibet. Puqung said he would bring his best performances to the audiences to display the spirit of Tibetan herders and express their best wishes to all the Chinese people.
As planned, these 70 actors will set out from Lhasa for Beijing on January 30.
