The Tashi Jicai Community of Shigatse Prefecture is famous for its national handicrafts in Tibet Autonomous Region.

The local craftsmen used to pay attention to upscale products such as the jewelry and religious appliances made of gold, silver, or bronze. However, they have changed and offered products concerning more about people's daily life, which are even more profitable.
