The Tibet Art Exhibition was held in Kaohsiung Science and Technology Museum after a brilliant debut in Taipei, south China's Taiwan on September 29.
The exhibition has received about 160,000 visitors since it was put on in the Palace Museum of Taiwan, Taipei on July 1st.
Titled "Holy Tibet: Treasure House Closest to the Sky", the exhibition showcases 130 pieces of precious Tibetan antiques and art works.
The collections came from 12 museums and Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, including the Potala Palace, Norbu Lingka (the summer residence of the Dalai Lama), the Tibet Museum in Lhasa, the temples in Chengde(the imperial summer resort in the Qing Dynasty), north China's Hebei Province and the museum of Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing.
The exhibition in Kaohsiung will draw to a close in January 2011.
