Popular ballad gets a new spin on big screen

"Kangding Love Song" ("Kangding Qing Ge"), one of the most widely sung ballads in China and now the theme song for a romantic movie of the same name.

Set on the picturesque Tibetan Plateau, the film features Alec Su and Ju Wenpei as a couple whose love for each other endures over time. The supporting cast includes Pu Bajia and Qixing Aisin-Gioro.

Alec Su, Pu Bajia and Qixing Aisin-Gioro also have lent their voices to the song.
