11th Panchen finishes Buddhist study in Tibet

December 27, the 11th Panchen Erdini Gyantsen Norpo left Lhasa after finishing his two-month Buddhist study in Tibet.

Tibet government officials went to the airport for seeing the 11th Panchen off.

During his staying in Tibet, 11th Panchen has launched celebrating ceremony for the 10th anniversary of his confirmation and held head-touching ceremony for locals and monks. 11th Panchen has worshiped the Jokhang Monastery and Gahdan Monastery. He also visited the Potala Palace.

11th Panchen arrived in Tibet on October 25 and received warm welcome from local Tibetan.
