Horse racing shines at 2012 Shoton Festival

The horse racing performance, one of the local traditional athletic games, was declared open Saturday in the Lhasa Horse Racing Course on Aug. 18, feasting audiences' eyes on skilled horse-back performances.

Audiences erupted in aplause from time to time at the excellent performances, among which the horse-back shooting by the 25-year-old Koncho Norbu was the most eye-catching.

As the champion of shooting on the 2011 National Ethnic Games, Koncho Norbu hit his all his three balloon targets on the horse back.
