West Tibet embraces peak tourism season

Peak tourism season has begun in west Tibet's Ngari Prefecture, according to authorities.

From June to September, tourists and pilgrims all around the world would flock here for the holy Mt. Kangrinboqe, holy Lake Mapam Yumco and the Ruins of Guge Kingdom.

A total number of 41,818 domestic and 4,855 international tourists have been received by the end of June. And tourism revenue reaches 21, 41 million.
