A photo exhibition titled Impression of Tibet was on show in Taipei, capital of southeast China's Taiwan Province, June 10, 2012.

The exhibition displayed 71 pieces of photographs covering subjects from landscape, folk custom to developmental achievements of Tibet.

All the photos were taken by Huang Jiafa, director of Chinese Culture Promotion Society, organizer of the exhibition.

The exhibited works were selected from thousands of photos taken during his 6 trips in Tibet, walking through Lhasa, Shigatse, Nyingchi and Ngari.

To better reveal the real Tibet, the artist employed skills of aerial photography to capture the seasonal changes of Tibet.

"The exhibition can show Taiwan people the great changes taken place in Tibet and promote unification of the Chinese mainland and Taiwan through such cultural exchange, since many people across the Taiwan-Strait have a close bond with Tibet", said Huang Jiafa.

During the 9-day exhibition, professional and amateur photographers across the Taiwan-Strait will have discussions on photography techniques, contacts and exchanges of photography bussiness.
