On August 31, the 18th Beijing International Book Fair was held at China International Exhibition Center. More than 2000 issuing organizations from 60 countries participated in this year's exhibition. Books like Tsangyang Gyatso Anthem Collections, History of Art in Tibet, Tibet Today have gained great popularity among the readers.

According to Manager Zeng from the Peoples Publishing House in Tibet, since it is the 60th Anniversary of Peaceful Liberation of the Tibet Autonomous Region, books concerning Tibetan Buddhism and the 6th Dalai Lama Tsangyang Gyatso are quite popular.
