Hope Primary School brings Tibetan kids hopes

Hongfa Kadong Hope Primary School, is a primary school located in Kadong Village of Linzhou County of Lhasa, covering an area of 2,048 square meters with the investment of 1.17 million yuan. There are school buildings, dormitories for teachers and students, dining halls stadium, etc.

Nima, CEO of Tibet Hongfa Construction Co Ltd. in 2007 based on its enterprise motto:"Repaying the Society".   

In February 2007, the company invested over 1.17 million yuan to rebuild the Kadongcun Primary School in Chun Dui Township, Linzhou County of Lhasa. Two months later, students and teachers of Kadong Village sat in new classroom building, feeling warm deep in their hearts.

"There's no difference between our school and schools in cities in terms of housing and sanitary conditions,"Pu Ciren, a teacher who worked tin Kangdong village for over 35 years said. The aid and support from the society has given them a new hope in life and made them more confident about their future. Now there are 127 students and seven teachers in the school.

The Hongfa Kadong Hope Primary School enrolls 27 students for each class every year. It offers subjects including Tibetan language, mandarin, math, painting, PE, music and English.

In a kindergarten of the Hongfa Kadong Hope Primary School, children are all practicing Tibetan strokes attentively. It is reported that the school specially employed a Tibetan teacher who had taught in the Kadong Village, and also purchased Tibetan writing board for Tibetan students to improve their handwriting skills.
