The starting ceremony the experimental work of offering free pregestational medical checks was held in Namling County, Shigatse Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region on May 15.
The activity aims to improve people's livelihood by uplifting the quality of the population and is expected to benefit each family, said Dekyi, vice chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region.
