The first dress rehearsal of the 2011 Tibetan Iron Rabbit Losar (New Year in Tibetan lanuage) Gala organized by the Tibet Autonomous Region was staged at the Tibet TV Station on Feb.17. The program list was finalized.
This year's Losar Gala is expected to impress audiences with tailored programs and well-designed lighting effects.
The celebration gala has become the most popular entertainment during the Tibetan New Year festival since it was initiated in 1984.
People from across the country will enjoy the performances on Mar.5 through the Losar Gala live broadcast together with Tibetan people, thanks to the full coverage of Tibet's satellite TV channel across all the inland cities.
